I'm almost through with the second week of school, and already I can feel the stress bearing down on me as my O levels approach with rapid precision.

OOh. Big words for the starting line. Go me!

I don't know how I managed that. For me to even be able to complete a full sentence is a phenomenon. What with my school work, the O level, my Art to think about, and the fact that on both Tuesdays and Thursdays I have double remedial, together with my ELDDS, it's surprising that I haven't just fainted from exhaustion.

Oh, that's right. I did.

Our teachers are hitting us hard. I hope to dear god we can make it through.

Tough year ahead, everyone, work hard!

We'll make it through somehow.

And now, because I can't be bothered/am too tired/too lazy/ don't have anything better to write, I shall leave you with the explanation of a product of my imagination.

Holidays and homework

Hello people!
It's been a long time since I updated.
I had a brilliant time in Perth. I stayed at my mom's boyfriend's place. I went to the beach, and got suntanned. Very suntanned. One beach I went to, Scarborough Beach, it was exceptionally windy and I got whiplash. T.T That's when the sand, due to the wind, rises and moves at a very fast rate, and it whips your legs. The good thing is though, it exfoliates well.
I went to Hillary's Boat Harbour and went on the High ropes challenge, played mini golf and bounced on the trampoline. I also jumped off a jetty fully clothed. That was fun, but the water seemed extra salty and it made my skin sting. But it was oh, so good.
Went down to a place called Margaret River.It was cold there, 17 degrees, but I managed. Bought some Christmas presents there, and held a baby kangaroo! =3 Saw Jewel Caves and a large lighthouse. Went IN the large lighthouse.
Went to the Pinnacles, which look like shark teeth. Those were pretty cool. Took some nice shots.
Drove down to Fremantle, had fish and chips with my uncle who lives there. Sat on the rocks and looked lonely while I took photos of the sunset. And of the waves crashing against the rocks.
I also went down to Swan River and saw eleven swans. And seagulls. I also fed ducks.

And well, that was my Australia visit.

Now, onto the hell that I hath returned to.

Operation Beautiful

I was reading GMH (that's Gives Me Hope, a site where people post things that give them hope. Site here.) and I was lead to this wonderful movement that I will definitely be following. It's called Operation Beautiful.
As quoted from the site- "The mission of Operation Beautiful is to post anonymous notes in public places for other women to find. The point is that WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL. You are enough... just the way you are!" The point is to write a note with the words "You are beautiful" on it, and leave it, or post it anywhere you like. The site is just full of examples of the people following Operation Beautiful, and if you like you can see it here.
I don't know about you guys, but I know that I will be doing this as much as possible from now on. Every single person in the world, guy or girl deserves to know that they ARE beautiful. So...

Change! As you can obviously see. I've decided to change my blogskin, to something more relevant to what I'm feeling right now. Any comments, people? I saw this one on Blogskins, and I fell in love with it immediately.
Today, I uploaded two photos into my dA account. Hopefully someone will notice them. Haha, I sound desperate. I really like those two photos, though. They're portraits, taken with Amirell's camera(for those of you who don't know, Amirell is my mom's boyfriend). In other dA news, I've started a Christmas story, called "Snow". It's an extremely cliched love story. All feel good and Christmassy, but hey, it's an experiment. I want to see if I can actually do a plot and story of a full story, lasting several chapters. I've got the first bit on my dA account. There's a link in my Links. Here's a summary of the story:
Harry is a coffee shop owner. Sarah is the slightly(ok, very) kooky poet of the community. They meet in Harry's coffee shop one day and instantly don't hit it off. Being a natural cynic, and a bit of a Scrooge, Harry doesn't believe in love(at first sight or otherwise). However, Sarah manages to warm his heart.
Yeeeeaaaahh... Typed out like that, it does seem like a horribly cliched love story. But, I'm determined to finish it! So, I'm off to go and write part two now.

Wallet-Found!

My wallet has been found..underneath the damn sofa. >.> That was an awful place to lose a wallet. So, my money has been returned to me and I hope that I can pay my phone bill as soon as possible.
In other news, I have to start packing for my chalet next Monday. Does anyone know what time we have to meet on that day? The details of the chalet are still very very sketchy, and I don't know what's going on. D8
Spent the evening out with Ching Han and Gladys, and we had dinner at Takashimaya. We all had fried noodles. I was late, so I got the noodles last. >.> Went over to Cini and took a bunch of neoprints with them. Honestly- I looked horrible in some of them. But they turned out alright, so I guess it's fine. Went to the toilet, and me and Ching Han were about to take some photos when these three girls from Chatsworth International stuck their heads in. Literally. xD We took a photo with them, and then took a photo of them. They were nice, very friendly. Went home through Orchard. Which reminds me.. I'll have to ask Ching Han about the thing which she's supposed to tell me. Don't think I've forgotten!
Yesterday I went out with my mom for lunch at IMM. Had pasta, with bacon. My mom had a smoked salmon sandwich. After that went into Daiso and bought a torch for the class chalet and after that, I headed to PINC to do my nails. Yes, that's right. I went to do a french manicure, as well as an express pedicure. Now I have pretty nails! *is happy* ~~And now at least my boyfriend's nails aren't better than mine~~.
Tomorrow I'll be out to see Zaidi, because I need to have my measurements taken. I don't really like cheongsams, but it's free, so I'll like this one. x3 I wonder if the voiceover for the video will take long. It'll be interesting to see Indi playing the part of Death. And I've never seen poly students do videos before. :3 I can learn so much.
Well, I'm off to go make a pinata for my mom.

AFA was awesomesauce. I haven't used that word in a while, and thought it fit the context, so I put it down. In fact, there are many words that could be used to describe Anime Festival Asia 2009. For those of you who didn't go, and wanted to, TOO BAD. For those of you who didn't go, and didn't want to, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?

On the first day I was working until 3, and then I took a taxi down to the Convention Centre.I wore a longsleeved shirt with black and white stripes on the sleeves, denim shorts, black leggings and white high cut converse-like shoes that came up to just below my knees. I met up with Adam(Sebastian), Indi(Squall), Prash(Roy Mustang), Shafiq(Naruto) and got introduced to Juliene. We walked around and got entertained by Indi(who ripped his pants) and by Shafiq(who didn't rip his pants). We queued up for KKNM. Indi was...interesting. He kept grabbing random people's shoulders and saying Squall's lines.

Walked into KKNM.

Walked out of KKNM.

Spent some more time wandering about and finally watching Indi do karaoke. Or rather, watching him sing a song where he makes up half of the lyircs. I swear, the lyrics were "lalalala something something...I don't know Japanese..." I haven't laughed so hard in ages. XD After that Indi left.

Sebastian, Roy, Naruto and I then went outside to rest our feet. We hobo-ed on the stairs for a while. Prash went back inside to look for Juliene. Adam and I sat outside. Juliene and Prash returned and we went downstairs where I went off to go have dinner with my dad and brothers.

On the second day I met up with Adam first, and we both headed to the Convention Centre. Met up with Shafiq and Wai Teng. And DOMO KUN!!! I bought a hat with bunny ears, and a small Domo-kun. Walked around some more, saw cosplayers, learnt about Gundam and Kamen Rider.

After walking around for a while, we got some popcorn at the Ben10 thing. Ryan joined us. Talk about major tension.

Walked out of AFA with our party leader- Shafiq. Went to Marina, where we got drinks at Kopitiam, got lost, looked like freaks and loved it, went into shops,made complete and utter fools of ourselves, and finally stopped and ate at Burger King.

Then I went home in a taxi.

And that is the end of my days at AFA '09.
